Ever since arriving in London in 2004, my passion for the History of Fashion, Art & Lifestyle has deepened, and subsequently over time I have created enormous visual & note-filled scrapbooks, covering the ever evolving tastes & styles of each Decade through each Century ( See top photo : for the front inside cover of one of my many scrapbooks ).
On most weekends and at every other free moment that I have, I look at what Exhibitions & Events are on in this great City and it's surrounds; and armed with my camera and sketch-book, I try to get to see as many of them as is possible. London's superb Museums & Art Galleries attract a merry-go-round of top-quality Exhibitions, all of which is food for my creative soul ( not to mention great resource for my Design Studio library ! ).
One of my other passions is to also visit Stately Homes, Palaces, Castles and their Gardens in which ever European Country I may be travelling; not only to see their magnificent interiors filled with Centuries-old artworks, furnishings and ornaments, but to also understand the Social History of these great places, each with it's own unique Royal & Aristocratic Heritage ...
